The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested suspected foreign money counterfeiters: Johnson Olumoyegun and Tanko Abubakar, in Abuja.
They have been arrested on Thursday and Friday, October 6 and 7, 2022 in Kubwa and Area three Axis of Abuja, with faux $270,000 (Two Hundred and Seventy Thousand United States Dollars).
In addition, Olumoyegun impersonated an officer of the Commission, the use of a faux EFCC ID card with the call Solomon David. He additionally carried an ECOWAS Passport with the call, Isa Bello.
The suspects could be charged to courtroom docket as quickly as investigations are concluded.
