Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian afrobeats singer, has recently released a song named “Loaded” with Asake, in which she discusses her leaked sex tape that went viral.
Tiwatope Savage, often known as Tiwa Savage, was in the news in August 2021 when she refused to pay a set number to blackmailers who threatened to disclose her sex film online if she did not pay them. Due to not cooperating with them, the sex tape was made public.
Tiwa Savage’s part in the recently released song “Loaded” provoked various online issues; although many praised the musician for her courage, others argued that the verse was unnecessary.
“Awon blogger blogger t’on fe fi mi gba star. She sang, “Sex tape o’le baye mi je (Nibo?) Igbadun kekere yen” (Those bloggers believe they can use me to shine; Sex tape cannot ruin my life, this small pleasure).
The recently released song is an Amapiano style of music made by Magicsstixx, and TG Omori directed the accompanying music video.
Don’t Date An Unemployed Woman With High Maintenance, Reno Omokri Warns Men
Former Presidential aide and activist, Reno Omokri has taken to Twitter to advise men to desist from dating unemployed women who demand high maintenance to maintain their lifestyle.
He stated that it is foolish for a man to date a woman who does not have any source of livelihood but demands to be treated with high maintenance from a man.
According to him, it’s more like carrying a burden on oneself.
He further advised men to focus on achieving greatness, like a tree with fruit, then women would gather around them.
He wrote, “Dating an unemployed female who is also high maintenance is one of the wrongest moves you can make. It is like paying to carry a burden. Listen, women are not rare. 50% of the population are women. Stop dating a liability no matter her sensuality!.
“Never think that relationships with women are hard to get. Not true. Success is hard to get. A job is hard to get. Millionaire status is hard to get. Prioritise. Focus on things that are hard to get. Once your tree has fruit, women will gather under it!.”
The Imo State Police Command has paraded the two suspects arrested in reference to the gruesome murder of their colleague, Joy Uchechi Nwachukwu, a cashier of a gas plant in Owerri, Imo State.
Nwachukwu was allegedly killed by her coworkers and her body buried in a shallow grave within the premises of the gas plant.
The victim was allegedly murdered by the suspects including the manager, in an attempt to steal the company’s money.
Spokesperson of the command, CSP Michael Abattam, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Monday, November 7, 2022, said a shovel and a cutlass believed to be the murder weapons used in killing the victim, were recovered from the shallow grave.
According to the PPRO, the two suspects are undergoing interrogation for the gruesome murder of Miss Nwachukwu while two others are on the run.
“Following a case of Missing Person reported on the 24/10/2022 by the family of young woman, Miss Joy Uchechi Nwachukwu aged 36yrs who left home for work at HALIM 633 SYNERGY COOKING GAS STATION, Toronto/Road Safety by MCC Road Owerri, Imo State and never returned home,” the statement read.
“After a futile search, the family decided to complain to the Commissioner of Police through a petition written by one Pastor Mrs Precious Abara. On receipt of the petition, it was immediately referred to the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID) for discreet investigation. Detectives from the FORENSIC SECTION were detailed to investigate along side a team of CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATORS (CSI’s) led by Inspector Obele Fredrick.
“The investigating group, on the 26/10/2022 at about 1200 hours left the Police Headquarters to the scene of crime on investigation, armed with Forensic Equipments. On arrival, preliminary investigation revealed that Miss Joy Uchechi Nwachukwu who doubles as the Secretary/Cashier of the Gas Plant, takes the weekly money sales to the bank on Tuesdays and manages the day to day running of the company because the owner who resides abroad entrusts the business in her care.
“These unfolding revelations gave the team of detectives an insight into puzzle surrounding the disappearance of the lady and a thorough search was made in the premises of the entire gas station for clues.
“Unfortunately, nothing incriminating was discovered hence they moved to the back of the COOKING GAS STATION. In the course of search, a blood stain was observed on the wall of the fence. This made the team to suspect fowl play hence, they carefully and professionally traced the blood stain to an area where dried grasses were packed deceptively with two heavy stones placed on them to create an impression that nothing has been done around area for long time.
“But, the operatives were not fooled. They removed the heavy stones, the grasses and gently dugged out the earth, alas an offensive stench oozed out. Excitedly, they dug further only to discover it was a shallow grave. Inside was a shovel and a cutlass and the decomposing body of Miss Joy Uchechi Nwachukwu.
“Consequently, the corpse was exhumed, the shovel and cutlass recovered to the Station. Hypothetically, it is reasonably suspected that the two items recovered in the shallow grave are the murder weapons used in killing the victim.
“The corpse was later evacuated and deposited at Federal Medical Centre mortuary for autopsy.
“Two suspects have been arrested and are undergoing interrogation for the gruesome murder of Miss Joy Uchechi Nwachukwu while, two others are on the run.
“The police operatives are not relenting in their search for the fleeing suspects and within the shortest possible time, they will be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law,” the statement conncluded.
Ekweremadu’s Wife And Daughter, Sonia, In Court Today As Police Charge Her For ‘Trafficking A Homeless Man Into The UK To Harvest His Organs For Herself’
The daughter of former deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu, appeared in a UK court today November 7, to answer to claims that she trafficked a homeless man into the country to harvest his organs for herself.
Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice were arrested in June this year and have been standing trial alongside their doctor, Obinna Obeta, for charges bothering on conspiracy to arrange the travel of another person with a view to exploit him and harvest his organ.
It is alleged they conspired together, with others unknown and with another family member Isaac Ekweremadu, to arrange the travel of a 21-year-old man identified as David Ukpo Nwamini, with a view to exploiting him between August 1 2021 and May 5 2021. They have been accused of facilitating David’s travel from Lagos to London to remove one of his kidneys and use same for their daughter, Sonia, who has a kidney-related disease and has been on dialysis for some time.
While in court today, the prosecutors claim the plot was to harvest Nwamini’s organ for Sonia’s benefit. The prosecutors told the court that the Ekweremadus and their doctor were arrested after the young man, who previously lived on the streets of Lagos, turned up at Staines police station, claiming he was the victim of trafficking.
Prosecutors claim Nwamini told police officers he had arrived in the UK on 20 February this year and had been taken to Royal Free Hospital for tests, none of which he consented to. After these tests, Nwamini said he had returned to the house he had been staying in, where he was ‘treated effectively as a slave’. Prosecutors claim he escaped the address and was homeless for three days before going to the police.
Mr. Ekweremadu and his doctor are currently on remand in HMP Wandsworth and HMP Belmarsh respectively. They did not appear in court today.
Mrs Ekweremadu who was granted bail at a hearing in July, appeared in court today alongside Sonia.
The defendants were due to enter their pleas but this could not take place today because of further legal argument.
The trial has been brought forward from May 2023 to January 31 2023, at the Old Bailey.
The Ekweremadus and Obeta will next appear at the Old Bailey on 16 December this year.
