2023 Election: Tinubu Knows He’s Not Medically And Physically Fit But Feels Entitled To The Presidency” – Aisha Yesufu

This Is Wickedness, Tinubu Knows He’s Not Medically And Physically Fit But Feels Entitled To The Presidency” – Activist Aisha Yesufu

Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu, has reacted to the emergence of the former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the 2023 presidential election.

Tinubu, who doubles as the National Leader of the party, emerged the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election that was held in Abuja with a total of 1,299 votes.

Reacting to Tinubu’s victory, in a video she shared on Twitter, Aisha Yesufu said what Tinubu did is not politics 101, but wickedness 100.

According to her, the presidential aspirant knows he’s not “medically and physically fit” and yet feels entitled to the position.

She compared Tinubu’s situation to knowing she has arthritis but entering an Olympic competition because she has connections, even if she knows there are other people who can win gold for the country.

She also tackled the presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, stating that he has not been in the lives of Nigerians.

Speaking further, Aisha averred that people who applaud these politicians are squandering their lives and the lives of other Nigerians.

Sharing the video on Twitter, she wrote,
“What Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT did is not Politics 101. It is Wickedness 100. Same with Abubakar Atiku @atiku.”

2023 Election: Everyone, Get Your PVC – Apostle Johnson Suleman Reacts To Alleged Helicopter Attack By Bandits in Kaduna

Everyone, Get Your PVC – Apostle Johnson Suleman Says As He Reacts To Alleged Helicopter Attack By Bandits in Kaduna

Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has urged Christians to get their Permanent voters card while reacting to the killing of 32 persons by bandits who allegedly used helicopter.

The tragic killing happened in Southern Kaduna.

Suleman said the alleged use of helicopters by terrorists in Southern Kaduna shows that Christians are not safe in Nigeria.

Gunmen suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen had attacked some communities in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing at least 32 villagers.

Recall that the assailants who invaded the Ungwan Gamu, Dogon Noma, Ungwan Sarki and Maikori communities allegedly with helicopters, also burnt several houses.

The District Head of Kufena, Titus Dauda, told Channels Television that the attacks occurred on Sunday and that 32 people lost their lives while a church and several houses were destroyed in the process.

Dauda added that the bandits, in their large numbers, first attacked Dogon Noma in the early hours of Sunday morning and killed several people, mostly men, before proceeding to Ungwan Gamu and Maikori villages, where they also killed people and burnt down houses.

The district head further disclosed that the victims had been laid to rest while the residents have deserted the affected communities due to fear of being attacked.

Reacting, Apostle Suleman urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to extend the deadline for the registration of Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs.

In a tweet, the cleric called on Nigerians to ensure they get their PVCs and vote en masse.

According to Suleman: “Terrorists now use helicopters? Who gave them the flight clearance?

“It’s obvious now that Christians are not safe in Nigeria. @inecnigeria extend the deadline pls

“Everyone, get your PVC; God won’t do what you should do!”

2023: Avoid Divisive Campaigns, Jonathan Advises Atiku, Tinubu, Other Presidential Candidates

Avoid Divisive Campaigns, Jonathan Advises Atiku, Tinubu, Other Presidential Candidates

Former president, Goodluck Jonathan, has advised the presidential candidates of the different political parties to avoid divisive campaigns ahead of the 2023 elections.

In a congratulatory statement issued on his social media page on Thursday, Jonathan said it was important to avoid acrimonious campaigns so that Nigeria can win.

Mentioning the names of the candidates, he said, “I congratulate the winners of the various primaries across the political spectrum, particularly Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who has won the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the flagbearers of other parties that have also concluded their primaries.

“Your emergence as the flagbearers of your parties after submitting yourselves to rigorous selection and election processes demonstrates your belief and interest in the progress of our nation.”

On the advice for candidates, he said, “As you progress towards the electioneering campaigns, it is important that the issues confronting the country and credible solutions take centre stage.

“I urge you to conduct your campaigns in a manner devoid of acrimony, divisiveness and treachery so that at the end of the day Nigeria will win, democracy will triumph and humanity will be better for it.

“As I have always said, no ambition is worth the life of another. As candidates, you must eschew violence and acts that will encourage any form of bloodletting or exacerbate the national fault lines.”

Kwara Village King Develops His Own Currency for community

Kwara Village King Develops His Own Currency for community

Ademola Ajibola of Ijara-Isin, a community in Isin Local Government Area in Kwara South Senatorial District, Nigeria, has reportedly created a means of exchange for his community in an effort to boost economic activities.

According to reports, Ajibola had the idea after visiting the United States and seeing vouchers being used as a form of exchange in some factories.

When he returned to Nigeria in August 2021, he devised the voucher system. Previously, the monarch had converted a portion of the community’s dormant Nigerian Postal Service office into a microfinance institution known as the Ijara-Isin Development Fund Centre (IDFC). The vouchers are now distributed by the microfinance bank.

Because IDFC does not have a license to operate as a microfinance bank, it uses the license of Mount Olive Microfinance Bank, Ilorin, which is owned by the king.
