Police Arrest Unubi High Chief Onuorah Over Kidnap, Beheading of Anambra Lawmaker, Okoye

Police Arrest Unubi High Chief Onuorah Over Kidnap, Beheading of Anambra Lawmaker, Okoye

An Unubi High Chief and malevolent herbalist, Chief Chukwujekwu Onuorah, alias “Egbe-Ejiejeogu” has been arrested by the operatives of Anambra State DSS Directorate. His arrest is one of the high profile and intelligence and technology powered and fastest arrests in recent times in connection with violent crimes. The arrested kingpin is the blood brother of revered Queen and Founder of the Famous Egedege Cultural Dance, the 80 years old Queen Theresa Onuorah of Unubi in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The arrested anti humanity and property violent crimes kingpin, Chief Chukwujekwu Onuorah is believed to be in his 70s and third in rank by birth after Theresa and Late Boniface (first son). His arrest was in connection with the abduction, disappearance, beheading and decapitation of Hon Okechukwu Okoye, an Isuofia Aguata born Anambra State Assembly lawmaker who was abducted on 15th May 2022.

How EGBE-EJIEJEOGU Was Trailed, Tracked And Arrested

It should be recalled that Intersociety had in its statement of 26th May 2022 (Killing of Northern Muslim Mother and her Children in Anambra…), independently disclosed the arrest of “some soft targets” (an Okada rider and an automobile mechanic) over the dastardly act and named Unubi as the location of the scene of the heinous crime(s). Intersociety which has been following the development behind the scene through its undercover agents also disclosed in its statement the arrest of the leader (“Omereora” from Nneni) of the street criminal gang whose members went on killing spree two days later, targeting defenseless civilians and their properties including the slain Northern Muslim mother and her children. In the case of EGBE-EJIEJEOGU, he was technologically trailed after he was found to have used the beheaded lawmaker’s sim-card to make criminal calls. Even after exhausting the sim-card ‘credit’; he completed the calls with his own cell phone.

The slayers of the kidnapped/beheaded lawmaker were earlier traced to Unubi where ransom running into millions of naira (some say, N20m) was physically delivered. The slayers collected the ransom and still went ahead to slay and decapitate the lawmaker. The cell phone of the slain lawmaker was put in monitoring devices during which it was found to have been used by EGBE-EJIEJEOGU to make several criminal calls days after he was beheaded. It was at this juncture that one of the ‘soft targets’ was arrested in Igboukwu leading to third party identification and location of the arrested kingpin. Between early hours of 28th (last Friday) and 29th (last Saturday) May 2022, the house of the arrested kingpin was raided after he was tracked to be at home. He made a magical escape after several gunshots were fired at him and he escaped by jumping into a ditch. After recovering several incriminating items including guns and bullets and his portrait, the operatives trapped him by leaving behind one of his cell phones. Between late night of 30th May and early hours of 31st May 2022, the cell phone was tracked to a private hospital in Awka forcing the operatives of the DSS to storm the clinic where he was arrested alive in bandage while trying to board a tricycle (KEKE). The two ‘soft targets’ earlier arrested were freed same yesterday being 31st May 2022. Bravo Director Enoch Pawa!

Burning Of His House And Properties Strongly Condemned

The operatives had gone back to the arrested kingpin’s ancestral home and dragged out an aged woman presumed to be his mother. His wife was said to have gone for “Omugwo” of her daughter who recently took to bed at Ekwulobia. The operatives had in anger after the arrested kingpin’s escape set ablaze the house (a one storey building and a bungalow) and their fixtures and chattels and burned same to ashes. The burning and property destruction are strongly condemned. In criminal investigation of such magnitude, burning of properties is the crudest form of such criminal enquiry and act of unprofessionalism. This is more so when some of the burnt properties or items could have aided the criminal investigation. It also amounts to class criminalization and transfer of criminal liability to others not involved in such heinous crime(s) including the presumed aged mother, wife and children of the arrested kingpin who have been rendered homeless for criminal activities of another. The burning down of the Family house (Obi) also stigmatizes and degrades the person and character of the Famous Egedege Queen and other innocent members of the Family and circumstantially designates them as “Criminal Family”.

We Disclosed To Counter Adulteration And False Credit Takers

Intersociety’s grounded intelligence finds that attempts are being made to spin and adulterate the true picture of what transpired in the above matter including possibility of labeling the arrested kingpin as “Arrested Top ESN Herbalist/Commander”. Contrarily, the arrested kingpin is strongly suspected, independently, to belong to street criminal gangs trademarked in violent crimes including political assassination, ritualism, killings, kidnapping, armed robbery and other crimes against persons and properties. Our independent disclosure here is also to thwart fake credit takers. Apart from the Anambra State Police Command falsely announcing “the arrest of one of the ESN commanders responsible for beheading of Hon Okoye and sundry crimes in Ebenator and its environs in Nnewi South”, which the Command recanted two days ago; efforts are also being intensified by some of the so called ‘critical stakeholders in Anambra security sector’ to falsely take credit for the rare feat solely achieved by the operatives of the Anambra DSS under Director Enoch Pawa.

Another Round Of Applause For Anambra DSS Boss (Enoch Pawa)

Intersociety hereby gives kudos to Anambra DSS Director, Enoch Pawa and dedicated civilian undercover agents that assisted in achieving the recorded feat. The achieved feat is consistent with our calls on Nigerian security operatives to jettison discriminatory, hate and crude policing or soldiering and embrace “man-mental-machine’ policing or soldiering. It must be pointed out that the use of discriminatory, hate and crude policing or soldiering always brings about bias and false intelligence and law enforcement and has never provided solutions to crime fighting. They, in totality, also aggravate and escalate crimes particularly violent crimes; making them repetitive and their perpetrators REPEAT OFFENDERS.

Fulani (Herdsmen) Jihadists Laying Siege On Anambra Interior And Boundary Communities

Intersociety had in its 13th May 2022 research and investigative report identified criminal entities troubling Anambra State and the rest of the Southeast to include Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen. Others are suspected state raised armed fifth columnist counterfeiters, street criminal gangs; extractive mineral criminal gangs including those involved in communal sand excavation and oil bunkering. The rest are derailed splinter self determination groups. This is to the extent that out of every ten violent crimes especially trademarked street violent criminal activities officially linked to “ESN/IPOB”, at least nine have nothing whatsoever to do with them. Intelligence at our disposal also indicates that the high commands of the country’s security forces hardly investigate and track down the Jihadist Fulani perpetrators. One of the recent Fulani kidnapped victims told Intersociety that “he was strongly advised to avoid mentioning in his petition to security agencies that he was abducted by (Jihadist) Fulani Herdsmen”.

Statistically, therefore, Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen have severally been caught, independently, in recent months (.i.e. March to May 2022) kidnapping Anambra and Southeast citizens in their hundreds and killing others in their dozens with ransom payments amounting to over N1b. Anambra boundary communities and a number of interior others are the worst hit. On 10th May 2022, an Anambra wealthy citizen, Okafor Stanley, escaped death by whiskers when he was waylaid by Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen along Umunze-Arondizogu-Okigwe Federal Road. He had geared off in high speed and miraculously escaped them but not without his car riddled with bullets. In the third week of April 2022, a wealth indigene of Ezinifite in Aguata, Chief Ray Iloanusi was abducted by Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen at Anambra boundary with Isuochi in Abia State and held for several days until ransom worth millions of naira was paid. He was also brutalized and yet to recover from trauma. On 14th May 2022, Citizen Ignatius Onyejekwe, a staff of the Oko Federal Poly in Anambra State was abducted by Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen at NNPC Filling Station, Adazi-Nnukwu along Nneni-Agulu Road in interior part of the State. He was brutalized and held for two days before being freed on 16th May 2022 at a bush behind the Golden Tullip Int’l Hotel, Agulu after paying N3m ransom. His snatched car and cell phones are yet to be recovered. On Sunday, 30th May 2022, the Prelate of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Archbishop Sam Uche and his Bishop of Owerri, Denis Mark and another were abducted by Jihadist Fulani Herdsmen at Umunneochi (Isuochi) in Abia State and tens of millions of naira (some say, N100m) was paid for their release. These are just to mention but a few.

Wife Beats Up Husband Over His Refusal To Sign Divorce Papers.

Wife Ruthlessly Beats Up Husband Over His Refusal To Sign Divorce Papers

Niyi Adeyemo, a 39-year-old man, has accused his wife, Jumoke Bamgbola, 38, of beating him to a pulp during a disagreement at their residence on Love-All Street, Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos State.

Adeyemo, who was said to be suffering from arthritis, was admitted to a hospital after the alleged assault which happened on Monday.

It was gathered that the marriage, which was consummated in 2018, hit the rocks in 2019.

Adeyemo, who spoke to news correspondent from a hospital bed where he was receiving treatment, said his marriage crashed after his mother visited their home and his wife objected to it because she did not like his family visiting him.

This, he claimed, led to their separation.

He said his wife’s demand for a divorce became intense when she returned from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in January 2022.

He said, “Bamgbola stormed my house on May 30, 2022, around 11am and asked me why I had not been picking up her lawyer’s phone calls. I refused to respond and she said that I must talk to her because she came prepared for me.

“I tried walking away, but she dragged me back and tore my native attire specially sown for my late mum’s burial and became violent.

“She started throwing punches at me all over my body, especially on my legs because she is aware of my health condition. She tossed me around the house and kept saying that she would make sure I was admitted to a hospital.

“She also dragged my private parts and bit my hands as I tried to prevent her from biting my manhood. I deliberately stopped myself from hitting her like I was advised. So, I telephoned her dad and put it on phone speaker; her dad called out her name, but she refused to respond or listen to him.

“Her dad asked me to leave the house, but I couldn’t, as she locked my neck with my torn clothes and said that I must give her a divorce. I passed out as a result of the severe pain and later found myself in a hospital.

“My wife’s demand for a divorce became intense when she arrived from Dubai early this year. While she was in Dubai, we resolved our differences through video calls and made plans to relocate from where I stayed. But she suddenly changed and began comparing me with another man she met over there.

“She came back in January 2022 and requested to lodge at a hotel in the Lekki area of Lagos so as to self isolate because of Covid-19 to avoid virus infection on our son. Apparently, she came back to Nigeria with a boyfriend with whom she had arranged to spend the night in the hotel.

“I telephoned her several times, but she refused to receive my calls and when I used other people’s mobile phones to call, she cut off the calls after she heard my voice.

“She once telephoned me and said that only our child bound us together and I would be powerless after she took away our child. She later threatened to kill me with her bare hands if I didn’t give her a divorce because her boyfriend said that he could not marry someone who was married with a child.

“The matter has been reported at the Ketu Police Station, but she is yet to be arrested as she has gone into hiding.”

Reacting, Bamgbola said she filed for a divorce and her husband was served, but he refused to honour the court invite.

She said, “I went to the court on Monday to see the lawyer and he complained that my husband had not been picking up his calls or from my mum as well and I telephoned him, but he kept pleading with me that he did not want a divorce and that he had been suffering from anger disorder.

“He admitted that he allowed a third party in our marriage and that he was sorry. The lawyer told me that I had to see my husband and make him understand what I wanted because of our only child.

“So, I went to his place and met another lady with him in the kitchen. I asked for us to talk and asked why he refused to receive the lawyer’s calls and why he was telling people that he gave me N1.5m to rent an apartment, but he denied it.

“I actually visited to inform him that the court had fixed June 28, 2022, for our divorce case and discuss the matter with him if we could settle the dispute amicably. He usually beat me, but I always tried not to hit him back because he is a sickle cell patient.

“Apparently, it resulted in a fight, as I was also admitted to a hospital at the Ijoko area because I had a swollen face and bruises all over my body and could hardly talk. I visited the same Ketu Police Station to report a missing Samsung flip Z3 phone that I lost in his house and paid N2,000 at the station for the report.

“Ketu Police Station later reached out to me yesterday (Tuesday) that my husband filed a case of assault against me and I replied that I would visit the station on Sunday when I get better.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, promised to call back our correspondent after confirming the incident.

He had yet to do so as of press time.

Coconut Seller Dies After Being Struck By Lightning

17-year-old Boy Dies After Being Struck By Lightning.

A 17-year-old coconut seller has died and two other persons are currently hospitalized after they were struck by lightning.

The deceased, identified as Emmanuel Doli, a former student of the Sokode Senior High Technical School, was selling coconut at Bankoe, a suburb of Ho in the Volta Region, Ghana, when he was struck.
Two other two victims who were struck by lightning were rushed to the hospital by the National Ambulance Service.

However, the body of Emmanuel was abandoned at the scene “over fears of the gods”.

Some opined that the coconut he was selling might have been ‘stolen, which is why he was struck.’

However Selasi Kwao, the deceased’s brother dispelled the rumours.
He said: “The coconut was plucked at our family house at Sokode Bagble. The coconut tree belongs to our uncle, and he was aware we were plucking some of the coconuts.

“I personally climbed the tree to pluck it. I plucked them from 6 trees.
“My brother who is dead now did not climb the tree. I even paid some people who helped in climbing with me. I only sent him to come and sell them.”

Mother of the boy, Rejoice Kwao, who couldn’t control her tears, narrated how she heard about his son’s demise.
She said: “They have been selling coconut for some time now. But today I was at work when I received a call about lightning striking my son.

I came here only to see the boy on the floor lifeless. My brother takes care of coconuts for people, so they pluck from him also. But I don’t know what happened here today.

There has never been a problem in his selling. I’m still shocked and can’t understand this happening.”

Lady Dies After Plastic Surgery in Lagos, Friend Cries Out.

Lady Dies After Plastic Surgery in Lagos, Friend Cries Out.

Tweep Cries Out As Friend Dies At Lagos Clinic After Plastic Surgery

A tweep, Miss Posha, has raised the alarm about the death of her friend, one Crystabel, who allegedly died at a clinic in Lagos, where she had gone to do a plastic surgery.

Lamenting the death of her friend, Miss Posha tweeting via #poshcupcake_1 said, ”I want to bring this to the public, A friend just died at this hospital in Lagos Nigeria, few days ago. where she underwent surgery. Now I’m not against anybody that want to enhance their body or anything as such, it’s your body life and choice, so do what you love but I’m against doctors that claim they have experience abroad, come down to Nigeria to kill young people.

“After the surgery, she complained of bleeding and the doctors claimed it is normal, it will stop. Now this is the problem, how are you a highly skilled and professional plastic surgeon with experience abroad and someone you finish operating on, complained about bleeding 喝 and you said it is normal it will stop?”

Miss Posha added that after her friend died, the clinic didn’t contact her family, until friends traced her to the clinic and were told to pick her body from the mortuary.

She said, “Hospital did not find it needful to contact any of her relatives. Until the few friends who knew she was going for surgery said she was supposed to have been back, they decided to go to the hospital to check on her; on arrival, they were offered a letter that her body has been deposited at the mortuary  This is sickening.”

Miss Posha called on the government to do more to curb the sharp practices in the healthcare sector.

2023: Buhari can deny Tinubu just as Tinubu Denied Ambode ~ Reno Omokri

Towards 2023, Former president Jonathan Aide and author, Reno Omokri has said that, Buhari can deny Tinubu just as Tinubu denied Ambode.

According to the social media influencer, Reno Omokri he said:

“I am a student of history. I recall clearly that Samuel Doe use to cut people while they were still alive. However, when Prince Yormie Johnson arrested him on his way to seek safety with ECOMOG, Johnson gave Doe the special Doe treatment.

So, if Buhari decides to give Tinubu the special Ambode treatment, history justifies it! Tinubu cannot expect Buhari to treat him better than he, Tinubu, treated Ambode.

If Ambode was the Governor of Lagos on October 20, 2020, instead of Sanwoolu, maybe the #LekkiMassacre of peaceful, unarmed #EndSARS protesters would not have happened. But Tinubu denied him the ticket. So, Buhari can deny Tinubu just as Tinubu denied Ambode.
No one will cry foul!

10 Quick Facts About Ethiopia You Need To Know By Agba Jalingo.

10 Quick Facts About Ethiopia You Need To Know…

  1. Ethiopia is one of two countries in Africa that was never colonized by European powers during the scramble for Africa.
  2. Because Ethiopia was never colonized, it is largely untouched by Western influence and has preserved its cultures for thousands of years.
  3. Ethiopia is the only country in Africa that does not have a European language or Arabic as it’s official or business language.
  4. Ethiopia has eighty (80) different languages with their national language being Amaric.
  5. Ethiopia has its own alphabets which consist of two hundred and nine (209) symbols and twenty-five letter alpha-syllabary.
  6. Ethiopia has eighty (80) different ethnic groups with many of them having their own unique cultures and languages.
  7. Ethiopia doesn’t go by the Gregorian calendar which is used by most of the world instead, they have their own calendar which consists of thirteen (13) months and they celebrate their New Year not on January 1st but on September 11.
  8. Ethiopia is also, several years behind us. If it is year 2022 in the Western world, Ethiopia is in 2015.
  9. Also, time is counted differently there. Ethiopia measures time from when the Sun rises, so when it rises at 6:am on your watch, Ethiopian time is 12:am. Their time is counted six hours less than the time zone.
  10. Ethiopians have their own styles of traditional clothes, fashion, religions and hairstyles and they also have their own cuisines.

Now close your eyes and imagine the damage colonial religionists did to Africanity generally. For most adult Africans today, they have been indoctrinated all their lives, both by parents and clergy, to hate everything African. They have been taught all their lives that all African traditional beliefs have to be abolished and replaced with foreign ones before Africans can see God. It is a massive mental manacle that will require generational chain breakers to suffice.

Yours sincerely,
Citizen Agba Jalingo.

2023: Osinbajo Is Buhari’s Preferred Candidate

APC Ticket: Osinbajo Is Buhari’s Preferred Candidate

President Muhammadu Buhari is backing the Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as his preferred aspirant ahead of the National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) billed to hold this weekend in Abuja.

A senior presidential aide who disclosed this said Buhari strongly believed that having worked closely with him since May 2015, Osinbajo is the best aspirant to continue with the policies of the administration.

The president is also said to be impressed with the way the Vice-President has piloted the affairs of the country during the period he held the fort as Acting President.

He said this backing by Buhari is responsible for the confidence Osinbajo has exuded so far in the race for the presidential ticket of the party.

Speaking further, he said following the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), some power brokers in the APC tried to project Senate President, Ahmad Lawan as their best so as to rival Atiku in the North but their proposal was rejected.

” As of today, the President is firmly behind the Vice-President as his preferred aspirant. He has refused to shift ground even after some members of his kitchen cabinet started rooting for Ahmad Lawan after the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as PDP presidential candidate”.

” Some northern powerful forces and religious leaders are pushing for a Northern candidate while others are behind the moves to draft former President Goodluck Jonathan into the race so that he can serve just one term and return power back to the North in 2027 but Buhari is not buying into all that”.

” Those pushing for Lawan had argued that since Atiku is from the North East of Adamawa, the APC should also present its candidate from another North-East state but the proposal was quickly shot down by some concerned stakeholders who also have the ears of the President”.
